Back to Basics

I haven't blogged in a while, just because I haven't had much to report. My routine has been:

5:45am Boot camp
8am Work
12:30 Lunch
4pm Go Home
8pm Go to bed

Seriously, that's it.

However, the good news is that my first four week session of boot camp is DONE!!! I am going to go two days a week for June and July - and probably August and September. But no more getting up at the crack of dawn four days a week. I am a little relieved.

I have to admit, though, boot camp definitely helped me out a lot. I feel like I am in much better shape right now. I didn't lose a ton of weight (maybe about 5 lbs) but I do feel like I gained a lot of muscle. So hopefully doing two days of boot camp, two days of Jarrad and the rest on my own will get me ready for Nepal.

Final results of Boot Camp

Original Mile Time: 14:09
Final Mile Time: 11:36

Original Sit Ups in 1 Min: 32
Final Sit Ups: 37

Original Pushups: 30 regular, 4 modified
Final Pushups: 45 regular, 6 modified
